✪ non-YGO fandoms: not...really? yeah, the biggest non-YGO fandom I've published fic in in the past two years is either Greek myth or Disney's Beauty and the Beast (1991). most of my fannish activity has been in the yuletide, once_upon_fic, and jukebox_fest exchanges. pay no mind to the sheer volume of Supernatural fic, on account of that show broke my heart.

✪ share something with the class: I'm working on writing an epic massive YGO DM AU fic wherein Yuugi was always a cis girl, Atem was always a trans girl, Seto was always a trans boy, etc etc so forth. And I'm using both manga and anime timelines, including both Series-0-and-equivalent-manga and Duel-Monsters-and-equivalent-manga, this is a goddamn bear let me tell you. Writing-wise I'm stuck at the point where I need to introduce Seto, but I have posted excerpts from later in the storyline as fan_flashworks and fic_promptly have gotten me to write them: you can read those on AO3 and fan_flashworks. Don't ask me how I'm handling any of the movies because none of them goddamn timeline either and for bonus points making use of Bonds Beyond Time seems to require a bit more canon knowledge than I actually possess. (No, I haven't seen more than a couple random episodes of any series later than Duel Monsters, why do you ask?)

✪ share something with the class: I have just gotten back into Yu-Gi-Oh! after a long hiatus, when a friend gave me his paper copies of the original manga series, which he was replacing with digital copies. Read it all in about a week, and became totally obsessed all over again. Unfortunately, I lost my whole Yu-Gi-Oh! collection of English & Japanese manga, sub & dub DVDs, cards, figures, and other collectibles in a house fire several years ago, and am now trying to replace what I can. Currently, I'm doing a Duel Monsters series rewatch on Crunchyroll. Never really got into any of the other Yu-Gi-Oh! series.

I like getting free stuff and "acquiring" free stuff, especially digital stuff! I also like dumb subscription boxes because I love getting stuff in the mail and I love spoiling myself/my dog. I love foreign languages so much that I have 10 faves lined up to study but I doubt I'd ever complete the list in my lifetime, but I have a soft spot for Spanish and I'd want to learn that over Japanese.
